This toolkit is designed to help states and local 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program sites participating in the NASA STEM Challenges spread the word about their activities.

It includes documents, presentations, templates and images that sites can use to promote their participation in the program.

The materials can be downloaded individually via the links below, or as a complete package in a ZIP file (ZIP 21 MB).

News Releases

  • NASA STEM Challenge News Tip for Sites. Participating sites can customize this news release by adding site-specific information and quotes from local school officials.

Student Release

  • Student Release and Intellectual Property Form. All participating 21st CCLC sites must have signed release forms for each student participating in the NASA STEM Challenge. Forms must be printed and signed by 4/24/15. Completed original forms should be sent to the Y4Y Logistical Contractor via FedEx. Please contact them at Y4YNASA@seiservices.com to request a pre-paid shipping label for your forms.
    We recommend that participating sites keep copies of the completed and signed release forms.

Templates

Sites can use these templates to prepare branded materials related to their participation in the NASA STEM Challenges.

  • Microsoft Word Template. Sites can use this template, which includes the approved branding, to create a variety of documents to publicize and support their participation in the NASA STEM Challenges.
