Many summer-learning initiatives are built and advanced through partnerships between schools, districts, community educators, and local organizations and businesses. 

Share your own insights and stories about partnerships that have been critical for summer learning. What were key strategies for building these partnerships? How have you strengthened or grown these partnerships? How have partnerships helped in the design of your summer-learning initiatives?

From a very rural community in Arizona, I utilize the traditional way of communications, postal services. My first stop is the Internet search for pen-pals for summer-learning and building adventures. I receive objects for show-and-tell for the new school year and students are able to continue learning during the summer.
