Y4Y TA Topics
Y4Y offers free virtual technical assistance to 21st CCLC grantees in a variety of topics. The virtual sessions are 90 minutes and the in-person sessions are between 4 and 16 hours. These sessions can be requested by 21st CCLC State Coordinators and are tailored to meet the needs of the requesting state.
An Introduction to 21st CCLC
Objectives:
- Understand federal, state and local laws, regulations and guidance that dictate the administration of 21st CCLC programs
- Describe the process of applying for a 21st CCLC state request for proposal
- Identify the key strategies for designing a high quality 21st CCLC program
Career Pathways for Students
Objectives:
- Utilize the career pathways framework to design a career readiness path for students of all ages
- Apply knowledge of career frameworks to engage in career awareness, exploration and preparation activities

Child and Adolescent Development
Objectives:
- Understand theories of development and developmental stages

Citizen Science

- Identify the institutions, participation and deliberation practices and rules and laws that are central for civic learning and engagement
