Let’s bust some math myths! Math is essential for our students’ future success, but many educators may not feel comfortable with their own knowledge and skills in mathematics. In this edition of LIVE With Y4Y!, we’ll refresh your memory on key concepts you may have forgotten, and we’ll explore concrete strategies for and approaches to teaching and reinforcing student math skills. We’ll tackle math anxiety head-on and share ideas on how to make math accessible for all learners. Our goal is for every attendee to leave the session with more confidence in their math skills, specific activity ideas to use with students of all ages, and family engagement strategies that will make every member of your community a mathematician.
