How do you successfully engage older youth? This blended virtual event started with a brief webinar and continued with a two-and-a-half day open discussion board where practitioners and experts brainstormed together. You'll find useful ideas, such as expert Sarah Brightwell's suggestion for encouraging district funding to sustain your program: "Ensure that you are up-to-date on district achievement data, the district improvement plan or strategic plan, targeted areas of improvement, and celebrated areas of success.... Connecting your program specifically to the learning goals of the district is a great foot in the door."
