Developing a Blended Learning Environment

Understand the basic components of developing blended learning stations, and how they can be organized for summer programs. Also explore methods to plan engaging learning stations where students can work together in pairs or small groups to disuss ideas, complete an activity, or solve problems.

Developing 21st Century Skills Through Summer Learning

Identify and define the 4 C's of 21st Century skills: communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity while also discussing the importance of including 21st century skills in summer learning. Participants will explore ways to successfully integrate 21st century skills into summer learning activities, and work through an activity that incorporate the 4 C's of 21st century skills.
